STEM TOYS
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Our STEM toys are designed to elighten young minds while providing a fun and rewarding activity. Each STEM toy, once assembled, demonstrates at least one element of STEM in an entertaining and rewarding activity

Incredible Hologram Viewer
Using apps and videos available on the internet, this Hologram Viewer creates the illusion of live 3D action. The Incredible Hologram Viewer is an exploration of light and light reflection. Place the viewer, pyramid upside down, on a smart phone or tablet. Click on these QR codes for example videos. Hint. Best viewed in a dark area with the brightness of the device turned up.

Fantastic Floating Ball
he Fantastic Floating Ball uses the same principle as a wind turbine. Once connected to a power supply (battery) the wheel spins rapidly creating a focused air flow. Place the lightweight ball on the top and watch it float up and down. Works best with fresh batteries.

Speed Control Carousel
Makers learn about electrical circuitry and incorporating potentiometers to control resistance. By adjusting resistance in a circuit you control the speed of the motor making the carousel move faster or slower. Put small figures in the seats for more fun.

Hand Crank Light Generator
A generator converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. In this kit the big wheel is connected to an electrical motor with a rubber band. As the wheel rotates, the magnets in the motor move and create an electrical current. This is a great way to understand the foundations of electricity.

Rubber Band Car
Have fun putting together and racing this awesome rubber band car. The more you wind the faster and farther it goes. Kids will learn about potential energy (stored energy) and kinetic (released) energy. This is an example of a simple machine in action.

Fiber Optic Light Generator
This stem toy convert selectrical energy into light. The light is then transmitted through plastic fibers that change colors in a wondrous visual display. Makers will learn about electrical circuitry and fiber optics.

Wind Generator Light
A generator converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. Rotate the fan using a fan, outdoor wind, or compressed air. As the fan moves, the magnets in the motor create an electrical current. This is a great demonstration of the foundations of wind energy.

Amazing Marble Machine
A great “maker” project for people of all ages. Have fun assembling this battery operated marble machine. Once assembled, you will be mesmerized by the mechanical action as the marbles gently roll down the winding track to be scooped up by the rotating wheel and begin the process all over again.

Wonderful Water Pump
A water pump moves fluid from one location to another using mechanical action. Water pumps are used to get water from wells to water fountains, to irrigation systems on farms and homes. This kit is not only fun to put together but will show you the basics of how a water pump works. Try using a little food coloring to best demonstrate this effect.

Electric Taxiing Aircraft
This is a great kit that is not only fun to build but will introduce concepts such as Newtons third law of motion, wind dynamics, air pressure and electrical circuitry. All STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) kits help build hand eye coordination through model building.

Mechanical Marble Machine
Everyone loves marble machines. This machine employs gravity and mass to operate the built-in mechanism as the marbles roll down the track.
It clicks and clanks and is fun to watch, reload, and watch again.
All STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) kits help build hand/eye coordination through model building.

Hydraulic LIft
Use the power of water to create a working lift. Learn the basics of hydraulics by applying pressure to water using tubes and syringes. This pressure creates force that drives a piston that connects to a lift mechanism. This is a fun and rewarding project to build.
